TIPS AND TRICKS
How to dress up for your photo shoot?
When planning your outfit for a family or couple photo shoot, there are a few things to consider to ensure that everyone looks cohesive and coordinated
1. Coordinate colors
Choose a color scheme that complements each other and makes everyone look cohesive. Consider using neutral colors such as white, beige, and gray, or you can choose a specific color palette such as blues and greens, or warm colors such as red, orange, and yellow. Feel free to check on Pinterest to get some inspiration.
2. Consider the location
Think about where the photos will be taken, and try to choose clothing that fits the setting. For example, if you're taking photos at the beach, consider wearing light-colored clothing and avoiding shoes that sink in the sand.
Make sure everyone is dressed appropriately for the season. If it's cold outside, consider wearing layers and warm clothing. If it's hot, choose lightweight fabrics and avoid dark colors
Avoid clothing with large logos or busy patterns as they can be distracting in photos. Solid colors or subtle patterns work best.
Add accessories such as scarves, hats, or jewelry to add interest to your outfits. If your kids will be with you, bring their favorite toy, or blow soap bubbles with them.
EXTRA TIP: Bring a backpack, put all your personal stuff inside and feel free to ask your photographer to carry it along. This will allow you to be more comfortable and move faster during the session.
